Black filter that only passes the light infra-red band ranging from  850 to 1,600 nm. Has a similar filtering the filters B+W 093 and Wratten 87C. Can be used in many digital cameras with surprising results. It can also be used in film cameras with the appropriate spools, such as the Kodak HIE.

 

The main effect is the darkening of the sky and vegetation appears white with an aesthetic very ghostly especially effective if it is set to greyscale (black and white). 

 

Given that this filter blocks the entry of the visible light, to achieve images you need to do long exposures for which you have to adjust the camera properly. It is recommended that you use a tripod when you are using this filter.
