The Tamron Adaptall-2 system appeared on the market in 1979, as an evolution of the previous Adaptall system.  It allows useage of the excellent range of Tamron lenses on any Reflex camera by just changing the appropriate adapter ring.

These lenses are extraordinary and in these hard financial times are a very economical alternative for DSLR cameras.  In particular the SP range that offers 22 lenses and 3 converters, that were being manufactured until the end of the 90s.

It is an accessory that adapts the mounts from the mechanical point of view.  Any automatic feature that requires an electronic connection between the lens and the body is not possible.
