It allows to use leica M39 screw mount lenses, in the M series bodies. It also serves for the Bessa T and Bessa-R2 and other compatible bayonet mount cameras. This adapter serves for all focal, but it is defined for the 35mm and 135mm, since it is the one that highlights the lines of the viewfinder for this focal. In some models, other focal lines are shown.
