This simple adapter allows the use of Contax-G (G-1 and G-2 bodies) lenses on your Sony Alpha NEX E mount camera.  IT IS NOT FOR THE ULTRA WIDE ANGLE OF THE 16mm HOLOGON OR THE 21mm BIOGON.

 

Sony Alpha NEX-3, NEX-5, NEX-C3, NEX-5N and NEX-7

 

It is an accessory that adapts the mount from a mechanical point of view.  Any automatic feature that requires an electronic connection between the lens and body is not possible.  To make the approach an outer ring gear on the contour of the adapter allows you to operate the internal mechanism of the lens.

 

Serves only the following lenses:  Carl Zeiss Planar 2/35,  Planar 2/45, Sonnar 2.8/90, Biogon 2.8/28

 

IMPORTANT:

Configure your camera to use the adapter

(menu)->(adjust)->(release without lens)-> enable

use mode A or M only
