This simple adapter allows the use of Nikon (F mount) lenses on your Sony Alpha camera.  As the difference between the image plane and lens are different on both mounts.  The device incorporates a correction lens allowing you to focus to infinity with out problems.  The adapter increases the focal length as a teleconverter to 1.25x.  Made in Japan from good quality materials giving an excellent finish. 

It is an accessory that adapts the mount from a mechanical and optical point of view.  Any automatic feature that requires an electronic connection between the lens and body is not possible. There are many good quality Nikon lenses and third party brands that deserve to be used on Sony and Minolta AF cameras.
