This simple adapter allows the use of Praktica-B lenses on your Canon EOS (5D, 7D, 40D, 60D, 450D, 600D, 1000D....) cameras both digital and film.

 

It is an accessory that has the bayonet mount like the Praktica-B and offers an anchoring system that allows you to mount the lens on the lower edge while maintaining the focus to infinity.  For this reason the adapter cannot be removed from the camera with out removing the lens first.  The electronic chip enables the camera to focus while you manually adjust the lens (must be used fully open to optimize detection)

 

IMPORTANT  It is essential to cut or bend the control lever that sticks out the rear of the lens in case it hits the body (see photo).
