Adapter for Contax / Yashica lens to Olympus 4/3

Use Contax / Yashica lenses and accessories on your Olympus Reflex (E-1, E-3, E-300, E-330, E-500, E-510, E-410, E-420...) 4/3 cameras.

The design of the bayonet mount of the Contax SLR manual focus has remained unchanged for decades. The brand refuse to change the mount with the autofocus to maintain its compatability with the excellent Carl Zeiss T* lenses.  The range of lenses and accessories in this series is vast including the outstanding fixed focal.   This mount has ceased being compatible with the Contax Digital Reflex (now discontinued) and the rest of the autofocus models manufactured by Kyocera for which this adapter does not work.

This adapter is totally mechanical and therefore it is not possible for the camera to control the diaphragm or the approach of the lens and must be adjusted manually.  This is not usually a problem in macro photography or when using telephoto lenses fully open and extended making the two applications very suitable for this type of adapter.
