Only one unit is included - at least two are needed!
1. Compatible with Nikon system flashes in manual (does not work in TTL but does trigger the flash when in standby mode).
2. Serves as a remote camera shutter release with the supplied cables.
3. Automatically detects whether it should function as a transmitter (mounted on the camera) or a receiver (in the flash). Always works in manual mode.
